GRAFFITI & FORCED ENTRY MITIGATION

ANTI-GRAFFITI FILM: A REPLACEABLE BARRIER AGAINST SURFACE DAMAGE

Graffiti, scratching, and acid etching can permanently damage glass and significantly increase maintenance costs. Our anti-graffiti films are applied to the exterior surface of windows, mirrors, and other smooth materials to create a durable, sacrificial layer that protects the underlying glass.

The film is optically clear and distortion-free, preserving visibility and appearance. If vandalism occurs, the damaged film can be removed and replaced at a fraction of the cost of replacing the glass itself.

With graffiti abatement costs in the United States estimated at $10–12 billion annually, anti-graffiti film offers a practical and cost-effective mitigation strategy for public, commercial, and residential properties.

STRENGTHENING GLASS TO SLOW INTRUSION

Security window film is designed to reinforce glass and make forced entry more difficult. While no glazing solution can make glass impenetrable, properly installed security film—especially when combined with frame attachment systems—can significantly slow intrusion attempts.

For many criminals, time is the most critical factor. By increasing the effort and time required to breach a window, security film can deter opportunistic break-ins and provide valuable response time.

This added resistance helps mitigate risks associated with smash-and-grab attempts, vandalism, and other impact events.

REDUCING INJURY FROM SHATTERED GLASS

In addition to security benefits, safety film helps hold broken glass in place during impact. This reduces the risk of injury from flying shards caused by:

  • Accidental impact (such as a stray golf ball or thrown object)
  • Severe weather and windborne debris
  • Seismic activity
  • Acts of vandalism

Safety films also block harmful UV rays and contribute to improved occupant comfort.

With a full range of film options available, solutions can be tailored to meet the performance, safety, and aesthetic requirements of government, commercial, and residential buildings.
